ecom.events is operated by Danan Enterprises Inc., a Florida corporation (“we”, “us”). This page explains what information we collect when you use ecom.events, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Email address, when you subscribe to event updates on our home page, continue to an event’s registration through our site, or contact us through the contact form.
- Contact form details: your name, email address, subject, and message when you send us a message.
- Basic technical information collected automatically by our hosting and, where enabled, analytics tools: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring page. We use this to keep the site working, secure, and improving.
How we use it
- To send you our event roundup and updates about e-commerce events. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To take you to the event registration page you asked for.
- To reply when you contact us.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Where it is stored and who helps us
Your information is stored with the service providers that run this site and our mailing list, currently our web host (WP Engine), Google Workspace tools, and our email platform (Brevo). These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Event registration itself happens on the event host’s own website, under that host’s privacy policy.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: one remembers that you have already given us your email so we can send you straight through to registration next time, and analytics cookies (where enabled) help us understand site usage. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link in that email.
- Ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will act on your request within 30 days.
Children
ecom.events is a business resource and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
